Dr. Weissman has been a practicing Board Certified Urologist and microsurgeon in the Seattle area for over 28 years. After “retiring” from a general urologic practice in 2008, he is now devoting his entire career to male infertility, sterility and microsurgery. Dr. Weissman completed his undergraduate studies in a pre-med program at the University of Minnesota. He attended the University of Iowa Medical School and completed a surgery internship at the University of Oregon. He received residency training in the urology program at the University of Iowa. His formal training was completed at the University of Texas in Houston, where he studied male infertility and andrology. In 1980, Dr. Weissman and his family moved to Seattle, where he has since enjoyed providing patient care in private practice.

Dr. Weissman was selected by the physicians of King County as one of region's 'Top Doctors' in the July, 2006, issue of Seattle Metropolitan magazine. With the support of Johns Hopkins University, he has traveled to Rwanda and Kenya to share his unique talents in the technique of no-scalpel vasectomy. Dr. Weissman is a member of the American Urological Association, King County Medical Society, and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. In addition, he is affiliated with the Washington State Urological Society, the American Association of Clinical Urologists and the Northwest Urological Society.
