A Compassionate Team of Reproductive Professionals

Our embryologists and laboratory personnel have over 30 years of combined laboratory experience. Cindee and Amin Khabani lead our team of skilled embryologists and laboratory staff.  

Cindee Khabani - Laboratory Director

Cindee Khabani, BS. ELD – Laboratory Director

  • Pacific Lutheran University graduate in Biology & Chemistry
  • Worked over 15 years at Swedish Medical Center Reproductive Technology before co-founding Pacific Northwest Fertility and IVF Specialists in 2005
  • Certified Embryology Laboratory Director from the American Board of Bioanalysis
  • Member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Association of Bioanalysts
  • One of the few Embryology Laboratory Directors in the country who works as a “hands on” embryologist

 

Amin Khabani - Embryology Laboratory Director

Amin Khabani, BS. ELD – Embryology Laboratory Director

  • University of Washington graduate in Molecular and Cellular Biology
  • Led the University of Washington’s Fertility and Endocrine Center as their Embryology Laboratory Director
  • Served as the start up Embryology Laboratory Director for Seattle Reproductive Medicine, before co-founding Pacific Northwest Fertility and IVF Specialists in 2005
  • Certified Embryology Laboratory Director from the American Board of Bioanalysis  
  • Member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Association of Bioanalysts
  • With over 15 years of experience, he focuses on increasing the implantation potential of an embryo through the latest breakthrough technologies
Anna Hoff, M.S., T.S.

Anna Hoff, M.S., T.S – Clinical Embryologist

  • Colorado State University graduate with a Bachelors degree in Biology followed by a Masters in Zoology
  • Began training in Andrology at Virginia Mason’s Center for Fertility & Reproductive Endocrinology
  • Joined the original laboratory team at Pacific NW Fertility and IVF Specialists when it opened in 2005
  • Certified as a Technical Supervisor in Andrology
  • Member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American Association for Bioanalysts

 

Our Staff

Experienced nurses, medical assistants, ultrasonographers, technicians and other clinical staff have been recruited from Virginia Mason Hospital, Pacific Gynecology, Swedish Medical Center, and the University of Washington for their professionalism, attitude of caring, and commitment to the care of infertile patients. They work together drawing from their collective clinical experience to tailor a personal treatment plan designed specifically for each patient.

Jane N. Perkins - MSN, ARNP

Jane N. Perkins, MSN, ARNP

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center
  • Masters in Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
  • Practiced in Montana at an Ob Gyn women’s health care office for 12 years
  • Worked with Dr. Marshall at Virginia Mason Medical Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology
  • Specializes in fertility evaluation, management of donor sperm cycles and the use of Clomid and injectable gonadotropins to achieve pregnancy
Susan Christofferson - Administrator

Susan Christofferson, BS – Administrator

  • Attended St. Olaf College and has a BS in Biology from Pacific Lutheran University
  • Extensive background in medical practice administration and management
  • Provided medical practice management support and consulting services for a variety of medical specialty and primary care practices in the Pacific Northwest
  • Served as administrator with Pediatric Associates, Bellevue and Pacific Gynecology Specialists in Seattle
  • Worked with Virginia Mason Medical Center to implement process improvement, patient safety and quality assurance initiatives
  • Member of Medical Group Management Association and is a Certified Medical Practice Executive with the American College of Medical Practice Executives

Fran Butler - In-Vitro Fertilization Program Coordinator

Fran Butler, RN – IVF Coordinator

  • Graduated from the Toronto Western Hospital School of Nursing in 1966
  • Started nursing career in an Intensive Care Unit and Recovery Room in Toronto and then in Montreal
  • Stepped away from nursing to stay home and raise two kids
  • Returned to nursing joining Planned Parenthood as the Nursing Station Supervisor
  • Joined the Fertility Center at Virginia Mason in 1996
  • Moved to Pacific NW Fertility and works in all facets of fertility
 Renee Lanzalla - IVF Coordinator

Renee Lanzolla – IVF Coordinator

  • Began in the Fertility field in 1994 with First Hill Women’s Clinic, as a medical assistant and was involved in gynecologic care, surgery and hormone replacement therapy
  • Worked closely with patients for more than 10 years in all aspects of fertility
  • Joined Pacific NW Fertility in January 2006, and became an IVF coordinator in 2008

Melinda Lloyd BS,RN – IVF Coordinator

  • Degree from Brigham Young University
  • Staff member, UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute
  • Team Leader, St John’s Hospital Out-Patient Psychiatric Clinic, Santa Monica, Ca
  • Specialized in women’s health care issues; spent over 20 years working extensively with GYN, fertility clinics facilitating IVF, and ovulation cycles
  • Co-leader of the Mind Body Program while at Virginia Mason

  • Graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Community Health and Psychology
  • Spent over 20 years as a teacher, counselor and health education specialist
  • Joined Swedish Medical Center as a coordinator for the donor egg program at Reproductive Technology
  • Program coordinator for the donor team at Pacific NW Fertility
  • Registered Counselor in the State of Washington
  • Member of American Society of Reproductive Medicine and serves as a speaker for RESOLVE, The National Infertility Association
  • Works closely with patients interested in egg or embryo donations

Resa Schell

Resa Schell – MSN, ARNP

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Seattle University in 2004
  • Masters in Nursing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Yale University
  • Worked at Planned Parenthood as a Nursing Station Team Lead/Registered Nurse
  • Moved to Reproductive Medicine at Pacific NW Fertility in October 2007
  • Assists in the evaluation of egg donors and coordination of egg donor cycles
  • Helps provide education and support for women as they embark on the emotional journey of fertility
Jennifer M. Lynn

Jennifer M. Lynn – MSN, ARNP

  • Bachelors of Nursing Degree at the University of Manitoba in Canada
  • Masters in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner at Seattle Pacific University
  • Member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Seattle Tacoma Area Reproductive Society
  • Specializes in coordinating donor-egg IVF cycles, screening potential donors, and ultrasound monitoring and assessment. 
  • Specializes in preoperative physical exams, intrauterine inseminations, and the use of Femara and Clomid to achieve pregnancy.
