Cindee Khabani BS. ELD Laboratory Director

Cindee Khabani BS. ELD. Cindee
graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1990
with bachelor degrees in both Biology and Chemistry.
She started her career in Reproductive Medicine in
1991 at Swedish’s Reproductive Technology. She has
over 14 years of experience in the fields of Andrology
and Embryology. She received her ELD
(Embryology Laboratory Director) certification in
the spring of 2003 from the American Board of
Bioanalysis (ABB). She is a member of the American
Society of Reproductive Medicine and the American
Association of Bioanalysts. Cindee’s focus is to
increase the implanation potential of an embryo
through the latest breakthrough technologies such as
blastocyst culture in efforts to reduce the risk of
multiple gestations.

Amin Khabani BS. ELD Embryology Laboratory Director

Amin graduated from the University of Washington in 1994
with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He
is a certified Embryology Laboratory Director (ELD) from the
American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB). He started his career in
reproductive medicine at Swedish’s Reproductive Technology in the
fall of 1994. After his initial training as a Reproductive
technologist, he joined the University of Washington’s
Fertility and Endocrine Center as an Embryologist in
1995 and eventually led the program as its Embryology
Laboratory Director. He was with the program until its
closure in August of 2004 and thereafter, served as the
Embryology Laboratory Director at Seattle Reproductive
Medicine for a brief period. Amin joined Pacific Northwest
Fertility and IVF Specialist in the fall of 2005 and is
one of the few Embryology Laboratory Directors
in the country who works as a “hands on” embryologist in
the Laboratory. He is a member of the American Society of
Reproductive Medicine as well as the American Association of
Bioanalysts. Amin’s focus is to increase the implantation
potential of an embryo using the latest breakthrough
technologies such as blastocyst culture in efforts to reduce
the risk of multiple gestations while increasing the
likelihood of pregnancy. His success rates from the University of
